America: A Nation Of Cowards

Let me see if I got this right, we have brave men and women of our military fighting in a war, some if not most have been ordered to their 3rd, 4th, and 5th tour of duty to a war zone. But yet, we as a cowardly nation sit on our pompous asses and proclaim we support the troops, yeah right, as long as we don’t have to do any of the fighting, risking our lives everyday like the troops we proclaim to support.

As a Vietnam proud Marine Veteran (9th Marines, 3rd Marines Division) it actually makes me want to puke when I see cowards going on nation-wide, and international TV talk shows telling the world that we are scared to show the world that we have the best judicial system in the world. Talk about morale for the soldier, I can’t imagine myself in a combat zone, and hearing about outright cowards talking about how scared they are of prosecuting terrorists via our judicial system.

When did we become a nation of cowards, definitely not during the Bush administration? All we heard was, “bringem on, we’ll killem one by one if we have to.” Talk like that only proved that such rhetoric put our brave men and women of the military in more danger than they were already in. We heard the Bush administration proclaim, “we will get the people responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attack dead or alive.” But yet, the people responsible for the 9/11 attack are still roaming free planning more attacks on us. We heard former President Bush proudly proclaiming on a military aircraft carrier, “mission accomplished” only to witness at least 3,000 more of our brave men and women of the military lose their lives after the mission was accomplished. After all that brave talk, the same people are crying scared now, exactly what are these people scared of? I’ll answer my own question, everybody know the answer; they’re just too afraid to say it, therefore I have to say it for these cowards.

To put everything in proper perspective, this is to everyone who will read this; let’s stop faking it. We have Senators like Diane Feinstein who was once the Mayor of one of the liberalist cities (San Francisco, CA) in America, now going against President Obama policies. Ok, I’ll get to the answer of my question, these people are more afraid of a BLACK MAN succeeding as President far more than any terrorist attack. Republicans and Democrats woke up the morning after President Obama won the Presidency, and asked themselves, did I really vote for a Black guy.

A word to the Congressional Black Caucus, stop the stupidness of going on nation-wide TV complaining about how the President haven’t addressed the problems of urban Black men in your district. Can any of you dumb asses contemplate how both Republicans and Democrats will use that as a political football to kick the President and make it seem as if he’s doing things for the Black community exclusively? I can already hear the rhetoric, “I thought he was the President of all the people, regardless of race, religion, color, or creed.” What really happened in 2006 and 2008, we voted in Democrats to lead and legislate, but what we got was a bunch of cowards who was gutless to stand up to Republican bullying. I promise, the same thing will not happen in the 2010 election. Either your punk asses lead or get the f#$k out of the way.
